You don't need to attack how well written his app just put in what happened don't insult them your a staff act like one.

@Rome Maybe he doesn't have a good defense in place because he didn't expect to be banned. I don't know which side is right here, but what I do know is if this player is innocent, this is an awful first impression you're giving him. Just because hes new to the server doesn't mean it doesn't matter if he gets fair treatment or not. You should address things like these properly, instead of simply insulting the thread for "Being poorly made." I think the fact he made an appeal at all is enough effort for it to be properly reconized.

How is following Staff Protocol and replying to an appeal attacking? Stop changing my words. I also didn't insult anyone.
All I'm going to say is, wait for my reply, don't assume anything, and it says no pornography on the wall right next to the TV.
An appeal like this only takes 5 - 10 minutes. Either way, if he does have good intentions, he can wait a day and a half to come back. It's not like it's a week ban. If you have any questions you may PM me.

I'm going to give this a neutral, leaning towards +1. There was no proof on either side that he committed a ban-worthy offense, or any at all. The mentality behind the support of his ban appears to me to be of "guilty until proven innocent".
To the argument that he can wait a day and a half to come back, I have to disagree. Being banned for an unjust reason would be encouragement to me to leave the community and not come back. If I had to put myself into his frame of mind, the staff team would appear to be untrustworthy, arbitrary, and judgemental. In other terms, people that should not be trusted to act as fair judges.
Another argument against the repeal of the ban was that he "he joined the server today I'm pretty sure, meaning he's not even an active player, either way". What I find this statement to tell me is the view that new and inactive players are to be treated in an harsher manner. As a player who is generally inactive on the server, I believe that this sends the idea that if I slip up once, I can get banned for the most minute reasons.
However, whether Colis's ban was actually justified or not, I can not tell. Whether he actually posted porn on the television, I can not judge, especially since proof of this is extremely easy to give. Naturally, if he did, his ban is justified and, if he didn't, his ban is not. For that reason, I can not say that he deserves to be unbanned. However, in Rome's response, it does send a message of bias in his administration, leading me to think that this ban was unjust. But, as I've said before, I don't know and looks can be deceiving.

I will respond to this thread, and Gooses thread by tomorrow. Note, I would never false ban anyone, and all he has to say about this is that "He didn't do it." Yet he joined the server today I'm pretty sure, meaning he's not even an active player, either way, I will respond. Poorly made appeal. (Edit: Yes I said poorly made because overall all he said was he didn't do it, didn't provide any detail. You think you'll be unbanned if you just put you didn't do it?)

Also, the fact that he can't wait a day and a half bothers me. If every person made an appeal like this saying they didn't do it to every Staff, it'd be an issue.

What else is he going to do a day and a half is quite a bit in retrospect because so many people are doing stuff on the server but he didn't do anything wrong and he can partake because someone is to lazy to really look into the situation.

- All he says is he didn't do it. He also thinks I 'accused him.' I didn't accuse anyone of doing anything. I KNEW he did it, there's not much to say. I hold C in front of the TV, and it tells me who plays each video. It was a simple 1-day ban for minging and
playing porn on the TV. About the minging part, I told him numerous times to stop mic spamming, but of course, he continued. So next, I called down a Shock trooper to watch them, they
finally stopped, then he decides to play Porn. Of course, I don't have proof of this, it was all so sudden. Why didn't I warn him? Because I yelled at them all to stop mic spamming
numerous times, and when they finally did he decides to play porn. I know if Riddick or Squirrel were in this situation, they would ban him right away, of course. This server is on a strict no-minge policy, you may ask Riddick about that if you wish.
