Decent idea but it would be too much work for the current developers, and binoculars isn’t a bad idea either because they exist on the server already. The only problem with binoculars is it can make events a literal cakewalk
The thing about binocs is we already have zoom and sniper scopes so what's the point.

Nothing is wrong with recon like u guys get to have a very sniper and get to tell the troopers what they are facing. Command just needs to use you guys more.

The problem with that is, it can completely fuck up a gm's planning, because most gms on the main server do not spawn enemies until the main force arrives to reduce lag. This will cause recon to go too deep, and bitch when they get spawned on top of them. Recon ad Gmod events just don't work and they never will.

Did you just copy paste that again?

All of us remember the scene when an outpost was attacked, Rex and Cody had arrived for inspection, but they saw a flare, to which Cody responded with "A Droid attack flare?" and Rex immediately shot a Commando impersonating a clone.

Recon MUSTN'T have the flare, instead, Officers and Leads should have them, as to mark the current situational reports by simply shooting a flare, a red would signal about a droid attack, a yellow would signal about the suspicious activity, white would signal the normal situation, orange would signal an emergency, you get the idea.

Indeed, either that or they have its own certification that doesn’t actually give you a flare gun (attachment or not) but instead you would need permission just to have one, so it’s completely the GM’s/Staff’s choice. (Similar to how the Z6 works)
