Static Health Spawners:
Pros:
- Disincentives death stacking (Players all stacking up to defeat in detail)
Health kits would take time to respawn and only give one player health (125/150hp) and ammo(identical amount). This would lead players within a stack to split up and search for areas where health kits aren't being used. This would split up large piles of allied players because players within the stack wish to be alive for as long as possible. The current health kits spawning on kill create concentrated areas where health kits are generated where players gather in mass. Though there are areas where players try to flank, it becomes a stagnating battlefield where when players try to push immediately get gunned down by multiple players. Anyone trying to gain ground or change the battlefield gets punished.
- Encourages movement towards action
Players will move towards health kits to a better position and heal themselves as soon as possible. Leading to an easily changeable and knowable contested area that players can move between.
- Creates fair fights (Health-wise)
I assume the health kits will be a larger amount 150/125 in order to be worth fighting over, allowing players to quickly heal to full and be on equal fighting grounds in health and ammo (aside positioning)
Cons:
- Can create positional advantage
Depending on placement of the health kit it could lead to players camping health kits in corners or other places, though this can be mitigated by placing health kits in the middle of rooms, rounding corners where health kits are, ect.
