this is just to keep tips for Gmod and stuff for the server in one place that is related to RP.

Helpful Addons:
If your Scattergun and EE-4 are missing textured, download this - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1744541413&searchtext=galactic+warfare
If Grenades are Errors or Missing textured, download this - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2019568291
If your scopes are missing textured - https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=415143062

Helpful Tips:
-Changing your game to 64bit/Chromium. To do this go to your Gmod Properties --> Betas Tab and select the one called x86-64 - Chromium + 64 Bit Binaries. upload_2020-5-11_16-13-16.png
upload_2020-5-11_16-41-3.png
-This can boost your FPS, and decrease your load-in times.
-If you want to boost your FPS in events, in your console do gmod_mcore_test 1 and optimize which will bring up a prompt from there.
- You can also disable PAC3 by doing enable_pac3 0, this will disable any PACs but will make your game run smoother if they are being used.

Loading In Tips:
If you are getting missing map a lot make sure to have all of the installed:

- Venator Content: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2009744690
- Anaxes: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1829795551&searchtext=anaxes
- Other Event Maps: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2074588985
If you are still missing Map, make sure to verify your addons:
-To do this Right-click on your Gmod in your Steam library, then open properties. Hit the third tab over labeled local files and at the bottom hit Verify Integrity of Game Files. You should always do this after installing a content pack.upload_2020-5-11_16-13-16.png
If that doesn't work:
- You have to first uninstall all of your add-ons through steam first. Then you need to go back to your properties and hit the 3rd tab over and the first option should be browse local files, hit that. It should open your Gmod folder in your file explorer from there open the folder called garrysmod open that and the first folder will be addons. Open that folder select everything and delete. Reinstall the content pack, and map pack, verify files. upload_2020-5-11_16-17-31.png

If you are having problems timing out a lot or taking a long time to load in:
-Make sure to only have PR's content. Try to keep your addons under 200.
-You can also set your game to only download Map Files when loading. If you are doing this make sure to have loaded at least once with all downloads allowed. To do this, go to options --> multiplayer --> the second option down, there will be a drop-down menu, the third option download will be only allow map files.

If you are having issues with "Autodisconnect" or "Lost Connection to the Server," these issues are usually derived from having too many addons or having a poor internet connection. If the later is the issue there is a few things you can try. (This Can also help if you are timing out a lot as well.)
- The cheapest route would be just moving your PC or your Router Closer together.
-You can also use Ethernet if you are close to your router or there is a port in the room you are in.
-If you aren't close to your router, and can't move it, your best bet is a network extender. Or you can try Pass-Through Ethernet.

Getting Stuck on Starting LUA:
I haven't found an actual root of the problem, but a few fixes are:
- Putting this in your console net_maxroutable 1260
-Verifying Game Files - How to do that is above.
-The next one I don't know if it will work, but deleting, or cutting and pasting the contents of your dupes, Advanced Dupes, or PAC3 folders.
-Clearing your LUA Cache, you will find this inside of your garrysmod folder, and then in the cache folder, and then in the Lua folder. Clear everything in the folder.
-If nothing else works, back up any dupes or PAC's you don't want to lose, and anything else, and then Factory Reset your game. To do this go to your local files and there should be a script called FactoryReset-GMod.

Missing Textures on your Hud (Happens more on JvS than CWRP):
Enable all of your Addons within GMOD under the Addons tab, restart your game, make sure to have Download all Custom Server Files enabled in the multiplayer tab under options.

Remember if all else fails, reinstall your game, and add-ons or factory reset it.

If anyone has anything else, just reply to this thread with what it is, or you can send it to me on disocrd and I can add it to here.

Another helpful thing is to enable all in your game. Someone's reinstalling an addon doesn't automatically enable it. You could also complain in the main discord server, if you aren't muted, someone will help you.

Uh apparently if you have the starting Lua issue you can put this into your console to fix it net_maxroutable 1260. If this information is incorrect and your computer turns into a transformer blame Holiday.
