I've seen some pretty incriminating evidence that would support Stark
not becoming GM, and have heard mixed opinions from those who have spoken on this topic. While this isn't excusable, he has admitted to some of his prior blunders, which is better than denying. From his time back after his LOA, which some have mentioned has only ended recently, I've seen minimal "minging", with the instances mostly being edged on by others or by the general push of the event, which I think we are almost all guilty of at some point or other. I'd like to think becoming GM may open the eyes of some of those who would be considered less serious, but as we've seen recently, this is more definitely not the case. Still, as stated in previous applications, there is a trial phase for a reason. His experience is decent, his event is simple yes, but there are no red flags, and I think that it
may give him the chance to become more involved in the server (as we have seen with their recent obtainment of certain trainer roles), become more serious overall, all while creating and producing events. A
+1 from me, just don't mess it up.
The event seems pretty bare bones. Most GMs try to make their sample event an example of their more elaborate event ideas. You don't need to make a massive complicated plot line, but I think a bit more wouldn't hurt in this case.
I will say that I love seeing limited life events, though. It's refreshing to see consequence in missions.
Better, in my opinion to go more on the simpler side for your first event, than go overboard and mess up, which I still sometimes do on my more RP oriented events. No amount of GM experience can train you in some of the more intricate tools that PR offers you, and the event script that he has, while somewhat simple in premise, has conditions for failure (which I like), along with a killer soundtrack.
