Personally, I believe that a ban was warranted for Dave at the time as he was intoxicated, however, I find it unfair that he has been permabanned. The situation that got Dave banned (I was right in front of him when he did get banned) was when he was calling out Baker for not having capitals in his name. (Was it something irrelevant and nitpicky? Sure.) But I find it absolutely absurd that Dave a trooper who has been in my battalion for almost half a year now was banned permanently because of someone as mingey as Baker. DOOM really likes its members and Dave is apart of our family and we miss having him on the server. Do I believe a ban was warranted for his behavior that day? Yes. But Dave has reflected upon his past actions and just wants to come back and hang out with us again. He's been banned for 2 months now, give us back our boi.

Just in a general sense getting Drunk and being an asshole are choices that could be entirely avoided as well as in my experience you have to be a true asshole to get ban for being an asshole.

Lastly a Perma is probably to much maybe a month or 2 would be efficient.

If I didn't say it in the appeal, then I'll say it here. I don't plan on drinking on the server ever again, and prior to being banned, I had months dedicated to the server and my battalion.

Your whole argument is kind of stupid not going to lie

I've gotten in trouble multiple times with Staff before I actually changed. Its not hard to look back after a couple of bans and be like "Oh... I was a total fucking daft cunt, I'm going to stop". It's obvious he shown that he wants to change, especially in DOOM discord chat/VC.

I'm also going to be completely honest, being an asshole is needed sometimes because holy shit some people on this server cannot be serious if their lives depended on it. Baker was an unholy minge during the whole time.

+1 Should 200% be unbanned. Dave has been banned for a long time now and I think he is ready to come back. If he was not dedicated to the server he would have left a long ass time ago. He has been waiting patiently for over a month and a half and been so excited to return to the server. I am not saying his ban was not justified as it completely was, but I feel that Dave has good character and can be a really cool guy and friend. This man needs an unban because he has proven at least to me that he can be a great guy and trooper. :doomsalute:

+1 I Believe everyone deserves a second chance and it’s no different for Dave he’s a great guy to hang out with. All he needs to do is not get drunk while on the server. But overall this man should be unbanned I think he’s learned his lesson. He is always in a good mood and shows no hate towards anyone.

+1 - Although I do not support him being drunk and an Asshole to people, but I believe he should be given a second chance. But if he messes up again, ban him.

every time someone gets permd that seems like they just wanted to have fun, i feel partially at fault for not being able to properly support them. with dave this aint even the case; he has been around long enough to feel like a part of the server. i simply dont like closing the door to people that want to join the server.​

+1 After talking with Dave and seeing how he actually cares about the server and how he said that he’d never get on drunk again. Id say give him another chance. And if he fucks up just perma ban him with no chance of ever coming back.

+1 i dont really know this cat but I know everyone fucks up from time to time. Should be zero excuse for drinking in the first place but he genuinely seems like he's sorry and made it obvious what he did was wrong and won't be doing it again.
