A New Navy.

Nines it not aggression this would happen in the universe so ya its actually not arrest able as long as procedure is followed. Also Quinn Poseidon and even sharp has not said a word to me.

This isnt just me the almost entire navy is getting sick of all the points that are being made. The post is letting everyone know that navy will start following the procedures.

Yes but the Navy would not act like this at all. You saying if someone takes off or enters airspace will be met with aggression and blown out of the sky, those are your exact words. One thing is for sure I am saying this you will probably be met with and treated as a traitor if your turn your guns on Republic ships that don't give off steps of procedure.

The point is if you are one of our pilots from our venator and you do not ask or say anything after 3 warnings that's desertion and can be met with being taken out of the sky.

If there's a gm or mod that actually answers calls for 2 ships so we can take it into custody we will do that but most staff no offense suck at answering calls sometimes.

Nines you're half right. I got perm from sharp to do this and I also do run almost all the RP of navy along with trainings. This post is how navy is gonna be briefed and trained on these situations and overall. If there was another full time trainer like me I would talk about it with the CO's more but for now this is how fleet are going to be trained which is in my job description to do.

@odin The flyers can be anyone if they don't follow procedure then they will be dealt with like hostiles.
I get senior officers can talk in Naval but they have /c for a reason unless its absolutely nessacary to do it just do /c, because no offense I hate when I see random officers use /n for no reason navy have /n for a reason and its not to get clogged up with random people using /n.

/n is used for navy CO's shouldn't even bother to help with boarding's ShipRP go to navy not military. We will inform the Co's so they can come down and talk along with navy but you should be talking to other ships especially when u don't have the long range communication like on the bridge to even talk to them.

I don't mean to try to sound like an overlord but I'm just telling how trainings and procedures are gonna go.

I also want to point out you're a SR. Crewman. You've no power to make all these points set rules, if this is something you want included. Perhaps speak to Pos and or Fleet Admiral Quinn, because the instance you open fire on Republic personnel you'd better hope you block the bridge off. Aggression will be met with Aggression. "If Navy CATCH ANYONE flying a ship for without asking permission or saying that we got permission you will be treated as a hostile threat to the republic and will be blown out of the sky no exception."

At the moment I can't really so anything, and no drastic actual in game changes are being made to Navy rn. If somebody wants to suggest something, bring it to Quinn/Sharp until I get back. But until I'm back to actually put shit thru, Quinn can only really make large changes atm

He probably should have stated earlier on that he's got perms for this, but it's whatever

Night is an "officer" of Navy, although, he does not have a high rank. This does not mean he can make drastic changes, he is what I unofficially call, my training boy. He focuses mainly on training Navy to RP better. A lot of the original post also has to do with Naval RP.

For those that think these are drastic changed then you are on something. This is literally Navy that are just RPing better.

I would never make drastic changes to navy.

It's very simple to deal with this situation. When it comes to ships and fighters Fleet Officers always have full authority, even with fighters. I don't think it's common for commandos or other troopers to fly fighters or any crafts in star wars. I understand there might be undercover assignments and stuff but if it's official whoever is sending SO would have contacted fleet and stuff. Plus it's not like fleet would intentionally stop SO if there is no reason to, so requesting ships and permissions would always be granted. As for Troops in the bridge, you did see troops working alongside with Fleet and Navy, however just like in the medbay if you're interfering or on the way and you do have clearance, Navy should be allowed to request you to vacate the area. As for unauthorised flights, there is a reason for authorisation of flight and ships, so shooting down an unauthorised craft shouldn't be out of the question if it doesn't comply to orders, just like it's done in real life. If an unauthorised craft is in your airspace, you're likely to shoot it down if it doesn't comply, the same can be said for unauthorised launch and stolen crafts. We shouldn't have to use excessive force between ourselves and we should respect one another.
