Recon Suggestion

This is my first ever post in the forums so if it’s not formatted properly sorry I’m advanced. I’ve been playing on the server for a little now and I have been trying out all the classes I’ve been certified in since I just joined 327th and I think recon needs to have a side arm. I played recon class during an event and I feel like I’m left dry without a pistol and being force to use a sniper the entire time. I understand that the role of recon is to not be at the front lines of battle but some situations may require a recon trooper to need a pistol and not a sniper rifle that doesn’t have the best accuracy even when crouched. So I feel like if a pistol was added to the class it would make the class complete and the role would have a little more viability in any type of close quarters or ranged situations.

Someone told me I’m suppose to spawn with the normal CT gun but I don’t so if this is just a me problem idk

I don't see a problem with Recons having a sidearm.

Also I think the DC15s spawn is completely random as Recon, because you either spawn with it or you don't depending on whether you meet certain conditions, unless that changed.

Yeah, you are just having a problem with the cert. As someone who plays recon just about every time I'm on the server, I'd really say that it is a well rounded cert that really doesn't need change. I mean, an extra pistol would be cool just for looks, but besides that, the sniper and the DC-15s make recon as well rounded as I can imagine a cert being.

The VIP Recon Class has access to the DC-17S which is a good pistol. Riddick might think on adding a sidearm to an additional loadout on the cert as he has said he plans on adding non-VIP loadouts soon.

Ok i confirmed it on the server with Jek on the normal recon class its only the republic sniper and drone in the loadout nothing else

But that isn't supposed to happen bro. You are supposed to get the DC-15s. Like I said earlier, I would contact staff when/if they get on sometime soon
