So it has been quite a ride these past few months. I will say though, this server has given me a great bit of joy and some new friends that I would have never made if I had never joined the server back in April 2019. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. Some people may already know this but some people do not, so I will brief you on why I am leaving. I am enlisted in the Marine Corps and will be soon proceeding with my career in the next few months. As a result, I have decided to tone down my overall gaming time to focus on physical training and mentally preparing myself for boot camp. Once I finish boot camp I will be pretty much gone for the next few years and will not have any amount of time to sit down and play on the server.

So I am resigning so that someone will take my empty place in the slots that I currently am in. I will be giving away my skin back to the server so Riddick can do whatever he wants with it. Additionally, I will be handing over my training handbooks to the respective people so they may continue to add onto them for future certification training. As I am resigning, I will be dropping out of every discord except for the main one, so if you want to shoot me a message about something you will find me in there as just "Gates".

Thank You for Contributing to my Experience on the Server
Riddick - Good owner of a great community, good luck with the future and hopefully S&B will finally come out.
Evan - It was fun testing out bugs and helping you bug test functions for the server. Good luck with the Air Force.
Fretwell - Thank you for giving me the chance to be a moderator on the server.
Poseidon - Your 5-hour events were cancerous to do but I had fun assisting in them whenever I could.
Kono - You were my first friend on the server and helped me get to my position that I held to this day.
Fixer - We did not interact as much but you had some great RP as both your trooper and as an event character.
Aether - "Will you give me head pats now master?"
Sharp - You may have been autistic and sleep-deprived most of the time, but at least you got the job done.
Archer - We did not do much in Gmod, but I appreciate your sniper capabilities in ARMA 3.
Ion - Thank you for letting me join the 414th as a pseudo member when I was just a 167th trooper back in the day, you helped me to integrate more into the community.
Papa M8 - You were practically my NCO buddy, whenever you ranked up I would as well. It's was good working with you as FM on multiple operations.
Karma - You were my first battle buddy in the fields of Geonosis. Good luck with your career and future as a voice actor should you continue pursuing it.
Helasar - I'll always remember you as the 501st engineer who bravely charged down a group of b1s with just his E-Tool
Flare - I had a good time helping you redesign Jedi. Have fun with your future events and future padawans.
Tman - Things may have been rough in the beginning, but you have grown as a person since I first met you. Good job working as the 5th XO.
Pyro - You are the brother that everyone wanted and no one wanted to share.
Rough - You were the cool CO when I first joined the server, also thanks for letting me use you for my essay back in June.
Fudall - You are an excellent Gamemaster and I will always be satisfied with your creations, I will miss them greatly.
Sizarion - You have the best PAC3 models that I have ever seen, in my opinion, you were the best for creating event characters with it.
Riko and Kowalski - Farewell my two favorite Madagascar penguins.
Marball - Thank you for letting me chill with your 187th boys and the experiences that allowed me to have.
Lazz, Cucumber, Widowtree, Alder, Alex - Thank you for being my squadmates in the 5th Fleet. It was an honor.
WarpedTech - Thank you for showing me the monstrosity that is Tactical Tool Game.
Scythe - Great events both inside and outside of Gmod. Does not hurt that you were also my ARC instructor, a damn good one at that.
212th Battalion - You guys know who you are, thanks for those experience you guys have brought me and still do to this day. Maybe we'll we each other again in ARMA 3 or Halo sometime in the future.
41st Battalion - Some people may have hated you, but I at least had a good time on operations with you guys. You may not exist on the server but when you did, it was fun.
Special Forces - It has been an honor serving as a member of our Headhunters. I wish luck to all my cadet trainees who passed with me in our batch.
Certification Cadets - You people who suffered under my training, I hope you all learned something and that I was a somewhat decent teacher.

Maybe I forgot someone, who knows, but I really did try and credit all the people who helped integrate me into the community. If I did forget you, just know that I did not do it on purpose. Like I said, if you want to find me, just look at the main discord. If you are interested in what the United States Marine Corps has to offer or you are just curious about it, give me a DM and I will be happy to tell you about it. Anywho, this is goodbye for now to the Project Renegate Community.

Was great working with you and great playing with you (especially CS and Arma). Thanks for teaching me marksmanship even though sometimes I suck at it

So long, my friend, you were one of my mentors to get to this position and for that, you have earned huge respect from me. May our paths cross sometime in the near future

You’ve done great work over the course of time as a cert trainer, as my XO, as an NCO, but most of all as a reliable and responsible trooper. The appreciation for the lengths you went to for making events great or content work or getting people certs for ARC and what not is almost impossible to say without going on for ages. But, I can thank you for one thing. Gates you were quite a friend to me ever since you joined the server. Hell you were practically one of my closest friends during a rough time and you accepted me for who I was and gave me a hand. The banter and the times we had running ARC or operations or playing ArmA and other games are times I won’t forget and hopefully they won’t end. You’ve been an important figure to me for some time now with your resilience and the effort you put it. I appreciate that. You took care of me and made the best of times. If you give me your grad date, I’ll gladly go to it and be there when you Walk down the strip. Good luck in the Marines and maybe we’ll see each other around sometime. I’ve always got your lunch box right here Wife :)
