Engineer revamp

There are a couple of things I'd recommend be changed with the engineer class.

1. New model bodygroups
Currently, the engineer class looks exactly like the recon class. It would be better if engineers had some sort of a unique appearance that would allow them to stand out and be recognized more.
2. New primary weapon
The only weapons that the engineer has is a DC15S. While it's not a bad weapon, I feel there could be some better options. One idea I had would be to do what 2005 BF2 did and give the engineer a shotgun. Another idea would be some modified form of the DC15A with a fast reload speed but smaller mag size.
3. Fusion Cutter
The engineer only has the repair tool which works well. However, I had the idea of overhauling the repair tool into a fusion cutter. It can still repair vehicles, but can now cut into enemy vehicles and weaken their armor.

These are just a few ideas I have to make the engineer class more interesting. Feel free to leave any feedback and questions.

I agree with the new bodygroups and fusion cutter, but the gun the ENG is fine

The main issue with giving people fusion cutters is that they can open locked doors. This may cause some issues with giving it to combat engineers; however, the engineer battalion already had a method of opening locked doors which shouldn’t be with the other navy data pad, which in my time as an engineer has never been abused. I feel like this may be a bit unfortunate but I feels as thought it would only really be available to be given to the engineer battalion. Some possible alternatives are maybe picking apart the addon so it is no longer able to open locked doors

The enemy tanks like the AATs and ADSDs are all NPCs that will obliterate you at close range. They also operate on a proximity basis so fusion cutters for the sake of cutting into hostile armament is just a suicide run.

(I haven’t been on for a bit so I have no idea if this still makes sense) You should give the fusion cutter to the 21st as they already suicidally rush the enemy.

TBH, The CE's Class is fine, Body groups are a good idea but its not needed a CE is meant to have his repair tool out or his Box of cover, The ENG dont need a new weapon, there not meant to be a role for combat There support so they'er meant to build cover for the combat role, along with that We already have a OP ass weapon, its the turret, It fires hella fast, dose 85 damage per shot, has no range cap, dose not need to reload, and you can use suit zoom wile firing to make it a sniper, So there is no need for a new weapon cuz we have one thats Fucking good, only downside to it is it has to be built and if CE and ENG actuality work together like there told during training, then a group of 3 or 4 could have 3 or 4 of those up in seconds. And the fusion cutter is useless as well, there is no need for it, Players will just abuse it, and dont say they wont because they will it happens every time. The only real thing i want to add to the Revamp ideas is more cover for CE's, The ENG Battalion just inst as active as it is needed to be by players (No shade or anything), Id like it if The CE role or class could get some more cover options or just more cover amounts, Because Cover during events is always needed no matter what people say and there isnt enough cover that the CE's have to actually make it work by them self's, Perspective, One ENG Trooper Has the Equivalent to around 4-7 CE troopers, and thats just based on the cover the CE have access to, Not to mention the Squad shields that are super useful and cool but dont ever get seen due to only ENG having them. So in all
Body groups: Ok
New guns: thats fucking stupid
Fusion cutters: also dumb
And add more cover and maybe the ability to place squad shields for CE's

This is how you improve CE.

- Fix the turret physics. Right now that turret will fly into space if it gets hit by a blaster bolt. Just make it more grounded without a staff having to freeze it.

- * make it easier to transport the turret from place to place without having to rebuild it every time.

- New bodygroups is a good idea.

- New shotgun is small pp idea. We have the best gun in the server, a turret.

- Fusion cutters is small PP idea. 212th already tried fighting the droids with a melee weapon, it was not a good idea
