n-Game Name:
DOOM SSGT 1791 Stark
Initiate Morgan Katarn

Steam ID:
STEAM_1:1:19303937

Steam Profile Link:
https://steamcommunity.com/id/wienernose/

Age:
20

Timezone:
EST

Hours Played on Server:

49.15 (More but do not know the exact due to the gametracker switch)

Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned?

If yes, explain in detail:
-I’ve been banned/kicked for going onto the server while under the influence of marijuana
-Got kicked for saying “I just farted” in OOC

Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD? If yes state what server, positions and time period:
-MGEN -TTT-Moderator circa 2011
-VarsityGaming- MilitaryRP- Senior Admin/Gamemaster crica 2014/2015
-AlteredRP - Jedi vs Sith - Senior Admin/Gamemaster circa 2016
-Revival Servers- Mass Effect RP/Star Wars RP/Post Apocalyptic RP - Admin, switched to Gamemaster circa 2017
-GGN- SWRP - Moderator circa 2017
-On writing team for a HL2 Mod

*Note: There are some communities that I have been a moderator for, mosting DarkRP and TTT, but I have since forgotten their names.

Do you have experience with Serverguard commands?
I know basic commands.

What can you bring to the Staff team?:
I have experience with being a Gamemaster, especially on Star Wars themed servers. The only thing is, I mainly was a gamemaster on smaller, more self contained servers that had around 15-20 people on at a time. Compared to PR’s 30-50 people on. So there is definitely room to grow which is an okay thing. I have experience in Nutscript/Helix commands so that'll come in handy in the future :^)

Why would you like to join the PR staff team?:
I want to run events and help run events. This allows me to run trainings for DOOM and other battalions, if they require help in doing so. Joining the staff team would also allow me to run cert trainings (if I pass trial phase) without being annoyance to the staff online to spawn in Vehicles and props needed for the cert trainings

I'd like to run a lot more night OPs for those who usually cannot make it for the day OPs

Why should we accept you over other applicants?:

As I said in the questions above, I have experience when it comes to running events, I have experience when it comes to being staff on a server. I am known on the server, though sometimes not for the best of reasons. But I am always improving myself.

Sample event (typed up event script):

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kfBpQIBz4S4cCeglZh_JqvXS6Tbu5RAr0LNT4WfLzMY/edit?usp=sharing

What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event?
Calmness and Adaptability.

How often can you be online?:
Often

Do you have a working microphone?:
Yes

Do you have a smartphone?:
Yes

Please state one reference (optional):
N/A

While it is know that Stark can be rather blunt and kinda a duck at some points, the Pros outweigh the cons. His app is well put together, and it is clear that he put effort into his app. Hours are a little low, but the game tracker was reset a few months ago, which Stark was on LOA for a decent amount of. Give him a chance, I'm sure he won’t disappoint.

The event seems pretty bare bones. Most GMs try to make their sample event an example of their more elaborate event ideas. You don't need to make a massive complicated plot line, but I think a bit more wouldn't hurt in this case.

I will say that I love seeing limited life events, though. It's refreshing to see consequence in missions.

I agree with you on it being simple and bare bones, but I decided to do that so I can get a feel for the spawning of enemies and such. I don't want to make anything too complicated without the proper experience. Don't want to overstretch my abilities because it's been a while since I was a GM. Maybe I can add a little bit more meat to the event

+1 Stark is one of the most creative people I know and he's had the drive to be a GM for as long as I've known him on the server, feel like giving him a shot is well deserved at this point.

From what I've seen, Stark's attitude has changed over the months in a positive way. It seems like he is trying to be more proactive in the community and I think with the right guidance, he could become a decent GM.

+1, event idea is interesting and your outlook on events and how they should entertain the average player is very promising.
