The Idea
Due to a high ranking officer being corruped and believing some troops are about to expose him. He reports in that the enemy has dressed as our fellow brothers and order them to open fire. The high ranking officer could block comms to stop troops from finding out.
The Outcomes
If the troops being setup can get a message out stating that they are not enemy, then and investigation could take place, outing the corruped high ranking officer which would lead to his execution or his escape of the ship.
Another outcome is that the troops fail to get a message out which will lead to many casualty, leaving them stranded or taking as prisoner/hostages. This could lead the group to send coordinates to the ship to either find evidence to prove the corruption of the high ranking officer or coordinates to free the imprisoned troopers who could out the officer.
