Note: This is not in the canon SW Lore, this is a completely new and original planet.
What is it: A world located in the Outer Rim, the planet’s atmosphere is heavily clouded by a thick black smoke, causing an eternal night. Much of its surface is covered in a white mist, leaving low visibility. Not only that, the surface is also teeming with carnivorous predatory creatures that eat any and every living thing they can find, adapting to avoid being eaten themselves. Several expeditions have been made to conduct scientific research on the planet, but eventually the Republic deemed the world too dangerous.
While this world was avoided by the GAR, the Separatists, having machines that had no fear, moved on to establish multiple research stations on the planet, tearing through the landscape to make way for their bases. More importantly, the previous Republic expeditions have reported ultrachrome ore deposits from inside the caves, which is an indication to the Separatists' motivation for being on this planet.
As such, the Republic has decided to send a contingent of soldiers to the planet in order to dismantle CIS operations.

Ultrachrome is a silver and superconductive metal that can reflect blaster weaponry and is heavily resistant to lightsabers. Obviously this would be an issue if the CIS ever got a hand on it.
Description:
- Fairly dark. Though it is possible without, you'll need your flashlights on to properly see where you're going.
- There's barely, if any plant life available on the planet.
- Ultrachrome ore caves, some of the caves have a small lake of water
- Very rocky and mountainous, containing relatively little level ground
- Much of the surface is covered in a white mist (Fairly Silent Hill-esque kind of mist)
- One or two CIS mobile command centers and numerous small outposts dotted around the planet.
- Have a few abandoned Republic outposts as well alongside crashed LAATs, broken AT-RTs, etc
- Rancors and other monstrosities are common on this planet
