In-Game Name: Swain
Steam ID: 76561198797628722
Steam Profile Link:
Age: 18
Timezone: EST
Hours Played on Server (Search on Gametracker): 9.45 [I think this means 9 hours? almost 9 and a half?]
Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned? If yes, explain in detail: Nope
Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD? If yes state what server, positions, and time period: I was a developer and head of GM in this one server, I cannot recall the name of it, but it was during October - December of 2021.
Do you have experience with Simple Admin Mod commands? I can recall some, I'd need a refresher honestly.
What can you bring to the Staff team?: I can bring ideas to the table for events, I can help out in other events.
Why would you like to join the PR staff team?: I want to help make things enjoyable for others, to maintain activity.
Why should we accept you over other applicants?: I've had a good experience when it came to GM in the previous server I was in, my events were rated one of the top ones in the server. This tells me that if I kept using my creativity, with limitations of course, it should help make a healthy server.
Sample event (typed up event script):
The ship enters orbit around a beachy planet (rp_tnb_coast) and sends out LAATs to land on a coastline to look for items to repair the ship. Whilst landing on this coastline, clones see a town riddled with curious but scared civilians. Among these civilians, one of them, named Pla’Took Inur, introduces himself to the clones and mentions that he has important information about the CIS and The Menace. Pla’took is then of interest to the clones, and is marked top priority for the clones. Pla’Took Inur is taken back to the FOB located anywhere on the coast for questioning about CIS schemes and schedules. Whilst being questioned, a bounty hunter, from a distance, kills Pla’Took Inur as he tries talking about the one who wields a double-bladed lightsaber. After Pla’Took Inur dies, the clones have to evacuate from the planet to avoid being sniped, with the information they now know. (New technology is being invented by The Menace, this technology is not known to the clones or Jedi; The Menace is strong in the dark side of the force, and the name of The Menace is yet to be discovered by the clones.)
What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event?: I believe the one key thing that should be exercised is quantity. Too much of something can cause lag, and people don't realize that. There are people out there with machines that can only handle a certain threshold of NPCs, vehicles, items, etc. and I believe it is an aspect of an event that is often overlooked or not thought of.
How often can you be online?: I can be online most days of the week and I can be online during weekends. On weekdays, I may have to go into work, in which I'd be working at night.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes.
Please state one reference (optional): General Phantom from the previous server I had developed.
