Shock Utility Request
Hello, this request form will go over a few things that would help the regiment act, respond, and control situations aboard the Renegade with an even higher margin of successs. The tools that are being requested have very little to no abuse possibilities and are really used to improve RP, and to further improve our role in shock. As shock has seen recent issues regarding the state of the regiment I want to do everything in my power to make things go smoother with less unnecessary issues. As Shock, our job is to stop situations from happening while only using our arrest batton as a last resort. With this mentality there is only so much a trooper can do before an incident arises. We have practiced and trained as a unit since our last formal discussion with staff and have changed our standards, tactics, and overall mindset for the few "arrest happy" shock in the regiment. Here are few various tools that can be used to further RP as well as make arresting less common with basic cases of rule breaking.

- Hand Cuffs and Hand Ties
- The Handcuff is a basic detaining tool used to apprehend someone. As the only way to currently stop someone from doing something is an arrest batton it would be nice if we could RP out situations more by detaining and transporting a suspect. This also allows for the handcuffing of surrendered enemies that can then be transported back to the ship for further interrogation. As I have been a shock for over 3 years across other servers I have seen this tool have a great impact on the regiment as well as the immersion of RP related events on the server.
- The HandCuff model I recommend is from Cuffs - Handcuffs and Hand Ties and I recommend the elastic variants as they can be taken off, and have no blind/gag mechanics.

- Riot Shield
- The Riot Shield is and defensive tool used to stop riots, protect high-value targets, and to act as a barrier between us and the enemy.
- The riot shield suggested is a deployable 1 man barricade that can either be held in hand to block bullets or deployed on the ground to cover the entire body.
- I have also used this tool throughout my days in shock and have seen it save many lives when troops need help or cover as well as acting as a shield for high-value targets so they don't get taken out.
- The model of riot shield I am suggesting is the Police Deployable Shield

As shock continue to prove to everyone in this community that we are a well established, professional group of people we hope that our recommendations get addressed to not only improve the job of Shock but to add more levels of RP for the entire server. The list will be expanded upon as more items or ideas become available from members of the community.
