In-Game Name: DOOM ARC Senior Commander Rough
Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:87754136
Steam Profile Link: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Fuzzynubby/
Age: 19
Timezone: MST (Mountain Standard Time 2 hours behind EST)
Hours Played on Server (Search on Gametracker): Gametracker isn't working at the time of writing this but I had 207 at the time of my last staff app 2 months ago, but I've been here a while and will remain to be here for a while.
Have you ever been kicked/warned/banned? If yes, explain in detail: No
Do you have any experience being staff on GMOD? If yes state what server, positions, and time period:
Project Renegade Moderator ~ 2 years
Project Renegade Game Master ~ 1 year Got removed to make room for other GM's towards the later half of last year.
Do you have experience with Simple Admin Mod commands? : Yes
What can you bring to the Staff team?: I can bring a large wealth of experience having run events at a respectable standard that are quick to setup, fun to play, and simple to understand. I also bring a wealth of moderation experience so I can be a helpful player even when I'm not running events.
Why would you like to join the PR CODEX staff team?: Seeing the reaction to my moderation app made me realize that my skillset would be better utilized as a gamemaster. The true way to get good memories and good player count on this server is through events and if I truly wanted to help the server then I would become a gamemaster. I still want to be apart of the staff team and with this abnormal period of waiting the server has been through since the start of this year is over now, it makes me even more motivated than I was before.
Why should we accept you over other applicants?: The amount of missions I have played as a senior officer have made me realize the limits and strengths of the troopers, a hard event is not one in which you die a lot but one in which you think a lot. I see spawning as math a science I study that shit and have been for years and if you want combat to be good you need variety, you need a goal, you need consistency. Troopers adapt so do you, troopers camp super hard, so do you, troopers abuse game mechanics so will you. IF the trooper shoots a spawned enemy it doesn't mean they're fighting if the trooper gets shot by a spawned enemy then they're fighting. You think this means boss unit spam? No I will see through the cracks and decimate you with just tier 1 units and a fraction of my brain power and the Codex will know what it means to fight as a coordinated unit because you will be stuck in my Starcraft 2 game and I have over 160 APM and a shiny medal on my player profile to prove that my b1's are the best b1's my B2's are the scariest B2's and my tri droids are banned in a couple counties.
Where was I? Oh yeah experienced, adaptable, disciplined, active (sometimes), good events, big shield, larger brain, and largest rank.
Sample event (typed up event script): OPERATION: ABRUPT ENTRY
What is one key thing that should be exercised while running an event? Respect. People who play the server should feel rewarded for wanting to think about the storylines that you put in front of them and they're smart enough to look through obvious loopholes and lazy decisions. A lot can go wrong during an event, minimizing that so that the player isn't suffering the consequences of those misfortunes you go through as a GM will maintain immersion and a mutual respect from the playerbase.
How often can you be online?: Wednesday - Friday I have the time off so I can use it as the designated time I'll get on the server.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes
Please state one reference (optional): Flare
