this is lil review of it is being written as i read it in my freetime throughout the day

So Far, i have one issue, and that is the knights of ren, via current canon we can infer that the knights of ren where indoctrinated from lukes jedi academy when kylo destroyed it, which also would mean that kylo likely killed them all, rule of two, killed all his rivals.

also that daisy ridley is too terrible an actor to pull this off, wide eyes+open mouth=good acting according to her.

Make the Star Wars fans cream themselves by having Admiral Ackbar exclaim “It’s a trap!”
10/10

nice usage of force enchantment

Hux: “Though the Raddus has escaped, our attack has eliminated many of their new pilots. This would effectively lower their morale." A, no need for " on that since there is already a Hux:, 2 how would he know they were new pilots? just remove new from there and it will add that extra detail.

So far its great, but I do think after Rey turns it should show a shot of Luke with a concerned look on is face, to show that he felt the shift in the force.

Instead of reading 28 pages, here's a summary:

The Resistance
  1. Corellia was made as the Core World for the New Republic
  2. The Resistance is now the New Republic Military
  3. Rose Tico is not a maintenance worker, but a pilot recruit. She's inspired by her ace pilot sister, Paige Tico
  4. Finn has no 'am I a hero' conflict, his friend Poe Dameron quickly reassures him.
  5. An ambush on the Raddus, the New Republic's flagship, kills Paige when she kamikazes into the three TIE fighters that would've killed all the admirals and higher ups in the movie (so no flying Leia and no dead Ackbar)
  6. The very same ambush lands a comms jammer on the ship
  7. Finn, Rose, and a few others go to Bespin to recruit Lando and Lobot to decode and disable the jammer. Despite a hiccup with encountering a First Order platoon on the planet, they manage to escape on a First Order shuttle.

The First Order
  1. Keep the first throne scene where Snoke is pissed at Kylo for letting Rey best him.
  2. The Knights of Ren are present, they've basically replaced the Red Praetorian Guards in this movie.
  3. Kylo still burns his mask, torn by the Light and Dark inside him.
  4. Despite offering to go to Rey to turn her, Snoke orders Kylo to spearhead an attack on the New Republic Fleet at Corellia.

Luke Skywalker and Rey
  1. Luke originally goes to help the Resistance, but Rey tells him they don't need help. She does.
  2. Luke is still optimistic, but also regretful for following the Jedi teachings to the letter (detachment and emotional suppression)
  3. Abandoning the Jedi teachings, Luke embraces the Grey Jedi teachings, finding a balance between the Light and Dark
  4. The hilarious "reach out" scene is kept, cuz it really humanized Luke in the movie.
  5. Rey is taught how to use a Force-enhanced wooden staff, drawing on her training on Jakku
  6. Rey is enraged by Kylo killing Han Solo and is still torn up over what happened with her parents.
  7. She dives into the Dark Side hole and becomes emotionally unstable from learning the truth of her parents (who sold her for booze).
  8. Kylo Ren reassures Rey that she is not nothing and that she can be someone at his side. While she is hesitant, it's clear that she is tempted by Kylo's offer to join him. It is here that Rey unconsciously believes there is hope for Kylo to turn back to the light.
  9. Despite Rey's hesitation in thinking Kylo could be turned good again, Luke is the optimistic one and tells her there is hope for his former student (and nephew).
  10. Luke uses the Force to lift his X-Wing from the water effortlessly (a huge contrast from his struggle in Empire Strikes Back)

The Finale
(BEWARE, KINDA LONG)

  1. The New Republic Military Fleet prepares for the attack on Corellia. The Supremacy and two Star Destroyers hyperspace in and unleash TIE fighters
  2. Show off the CGI in this film. Show intense dogfights and all that good shit.
  3. Kylo Ren is in his TIE fighter, cutting down Republic pilots and then leads atmospheric landers onto a Corellian cruiser. The First Order stormtroopers, alongside some First Order Deathtroopers, launch an onboard assault of the ship.
  4. After a Deathtrooper detonates charges on the Cruiser's reactor, the First Order landing party leaves to board another cruiser.
  5. Lobot manages to disable the comms jammer, reestablishing communications between the Republic Fleet ships. Coordinating with each other, the New Republic slowly turns the tide.
  6. Poe Dameron and his Black Squadron, newly christened as 'The Bad Batch', disables the Supremacy's surface defenses.
  7. Newly redesigned Y-Wing bombers attack the Supremacy
  8. However, as the Republic + Corellian Fleet advances, two more Star Destroyers come out of hyperspace as reinforcements. This is where we'd show a brief cameo appearance of Admiral Thrawn (perhaps just a blue hand tapping on an arm rest or just the top of his head from the back). Otherwise, we'd just use Admiral Sloane.
  9. The Bespin crew decide to infiltrate the Supremacy under the guise of escorting Lando as a political prisoner. They infiltrate the armory and load up on heavy weapons before pushing through the hallways to inflict as much collateral damage as they can.
  10. Kylo Ren is recalled back to the Supremacy after Snoke reports Rey surrendering herself in an escape pod.
  11. Show Poe being tailed before he's saved by the Millennium Falcon. Luke in his X-Wing and the Millennium Falcon joins the battle to help.
  12. Snoke taunts Rey, goading her and reminding her of her parents. It's clear that Rey is under emotional turmoil from learning the truth.
  13. While pushing to the bridge, the Bespin crew runs into Captain Phasma. It is here that we make Phasma a fucking badass. She shoots down a lot of the Republic infiltration team before Finn uses a riot shield to push towards her. He decides to fight her with the z6 riot control baton (the one the TR-8R trooper used in TFA) to buy time for the others to escape.
  14. Rey is still managing to keep herself together from giving into her emotions. However, Snoke shows live footage of Captain Phasma using the Maul-QuiGon move to stun Finn and run him through with her spear, killing him.
  15. Screaming in rage, Rey Force-leaps towards Snoke and uses the Force to take Kylo's lightsaber, cutting Snoke down.
  16. Snoke only smiles wickedly, knowing that Rey has successfully turned. Show a shot of Luke sensing the turn of Rey and looking defeated, once again having failed.
  17. After mourning Finn's death, Rey looks up at Kylo with orange Sith eyes. The Knights of Ren bow down to her.
  18. Kylo uses the Force to retrieve his lightsaber before fighting the Knights of Ren.
  19. Rey then uses the Force to pull in a Force pike and engages Kylo in a lightsaber duel. While Rey is channeling the dark side and her rage, Kylo uses Force Meditation. Show Rey unleashing Force lightning to confirm her turn.
  20. The Bespin crew is rescued by the Millennium Falcon. Lando takes the seat as pilot.
  21. Rey Force-chokes Kylo, making him drop his lightsaber. Leia senses her son in danger and communicates to Luke through the Force. He turns his ship away from the battle and towards the Supremacy's throne room.
  22. Kylo is thrown out of the Throne Room, but is caught by Luke and escorted back to the Raddus.
  23. Rey takes control of the First Order, using Lightning on Hux to force him into ordering their Fleet to retreat.
  24. The movie ends with Kylo hugging his mother after finally being reunited.

They should of known where the rebels were going like boba fett did. Also not have a ginger as the leader sense he had as much brain power as his soul.

I hate the new rebel characters except for Rey and Fin. I especially hate that stupid space Asian.

Rey was shit too, 1. Mary Sue. 2. Horrible portrayal by the actor. (check review picture)

and honestly I don't mind the Mary Sue factor as much as just the absolute dog shit portrayal

I honestly wouldn't have minded Rey, even after TFA, if they had actually shown her being trained instead of swinging a lightsaber around. I would've even taken her skill for granted if that entire throne scene was the same, except if she used a Force-enhanced wooden staff instead of a lightsaber, considering she has semi-experience in the former.

Have her struggle against the Praetorian Guards, stay on the defensive and rely on Kylo (who is actually trained in combat) to help her out.

One hell of an ending would be if the movie ended with her being severely injured by the Praetorian Guards and she is under the First Order custody, under protection of Kylo Ren (who is the new Supreme Leader). Leaves much more potential story intrigue, where the First Order may fall into a civil war amongst themselves, Luke may decide to help Rey, etc, etc.

I personally didn’t have much of a problem with The Last Jedi as I felt it was a nice ending for Luke and sets up the First Order as a sort of more threatening force with an unstable leader at its head. I feel that having the Resistance be cut down to enough people to fit inside the Falcon was a good ending as it shows that even in all your efforts, the bigger and stronger force will win (A LARGE contrast to the original series). I feel that, as characters, Hux and Phasma are sort of wasted. If phasma doesn’t return in the next movie it will be a late disappointment unless they can fill the position with an even more badass character and even the its more of a band-aid rather than stitches on that wound. Hux could be used as an intelligent leader rather than comic relief in some scenes, sort of like a dumbed down version of Tarkin in the original trilogy. But from what it seems like they are doing is making Hux out to be some kind of defector later on based on how he reacts to Kylo’s actions, but it could also make him into a character that seizes control after Kylo (possibly) returns to the light and helps the resistance. The First Order itself could make for a really intimidating enemy as it’s leagues above the resistance in terms of tech and troops. If they’d want to set up a trilogy after this (Knowing Disney it could be likely) then the First Order could crush the resistance then the next trilogy could be then building themselves back up behind the scenes to attack the Forst Order with more people. But that’s just my gripes and ideas.

Honestly, I would've preferred if they switched the actresses of Jyn Erso and Rey. At least we'd just have to deal with Daisy Ridley in only one movie.

Already planning on going to law school, also the entertainment industry has way too much risk and political argument.
