The Problem
So with part two it's to cover the hierarchy of the Jedi in general, and how we can grow forward. I really enjoy my Jedi gameplay and operating as a supporting role, for me it's a good amount of fun. So i suggest as we're moving forward as a community we move forward in unison with the neglected Jedi Order. I've purposed this in the Jedi discord, but this does affect non-Jedi so I'd like to have it on the forums to make it available to additional feedback.

Jedi obviously cannot rank up, we can hit Padawan by prestiging, but that'll take north of a few weeks meditation time (and i only got to level 70 before i gave up). A pretty unsuccessful system. And when you come out of it as a Padawan, you come out with less abilities in your skill tree than you did as an Initiate. The reason we're unable to get promoted is nobody wants to deal with what Jedi ranks mean to the team, essentially it acts as a punishment for donations.

Proposition
Therefore i propose we reevaluate the Jedi as it's own support Battalion, where Jedi ranks are only relevant to other Jedi. And if a Jedi wants to command clones he has to link into said battalion, starting as a private and having a separate military rank the battalion will unofficially promote him within that force. We'd be eligible for LCS, but basically we earn what we're doing same as everyone else.

In lore Jedi were placed above troopers simply for existing, but that's simply unsustainable for our community. Let us prove on our own two feet we're competent to do our job, it'll allow us the ability to grow same as everyone else & on equal footing.

Jedi Hierarchy & Ranking
In addition I do believe we should reevaluate Jedi Ranks within the Order, It's been stated that we had ranks within the Jedi groups previously. But it doesn't sound like it was performed properly. I would like to see a return of ranks

Jedi Initiate (Recruit)
Jedi Padawan [I-V] (Enlisted)
Jedi Knight [I-X] (NCO)
Jedi Master (Officer)

Maybe making them tied in directly to their clone officers promoting of them as well as the Jedi "Officers" where if the Jedi is performing well within the battalion the Clone officer would reach out to the senior jedi Liaison to make that request. Whereas the Jedi Order could do so independently if the Jedi is non linked.
This would provide a system of dependencies within the unit, so if the Jedi is being a shit head he'll be accountable. Example: since we got our lightsaber pvp damage turned back on. This set up should allow us to more carefully work with our clone troopers as opposed to just linking to them and that's it. Now we'd have repercussions to our actions if we develop, selfish tendencies within the battlefield.

Skill Progression
I'm still on that our Wiltos skills should be added for meditation, it's got a foundation that makes sense. Yet going further I do believe we should add combat & usage of force powers in general into the mix. Certain Jedi on certain paths work fundamentally different. Grouping us all together based on our robes is, well kind of racist (I can say that I'm Cuban) ;)
So obviously quests are a step in the right direction when they're working. But support style Jedi wanting to stand back and provide medical aide to troopers should be incentivized. Jedi who fight and even block should be incentivized within combat. Let us rank up by doing things relevant to our job, not just mindless hours meditating. Though i do believe combat points should be dialed back from force powers to pull jedi from being hard chargers ahead of the main force and endangering themselves and others.

Commanding
I do not however disbelieve we should be nullified from become Field Marshals & Secondary Marshals after we've reached sufficient military rank within our battalion, but that linking into a unit & being promoted to sufficient rank by that units commander, is essential to earning that privilege's.

Essentially it'll put us on equal footing with everyone else, not being held back & not being propped up due to a small donation. We'll simply earn our keep, as every player should.
